THE HISTORY OF GELATO
Italian gelato is more than dessert - it’s a timeless craft passed down through generations. From Ancient Rome to Renaissance Florence, this traditional gelato has evolved into the beloved treat we know today.
It was in Italy, during the 1500s, that gelato took shape as a rich, creamy dessert made with milk, eggs, sugar, and fruit. The recipe has been refined over centuries, but one thing has never changed: the focus on fresh ingredients and hand-churned perfection.
